  • What are the practical differences between Biblical, and other forms of counseling?  The Bible is used as the primary source of authority, and teaching .

  • Psychologist are compassionate caring people but unless God does the work changes may be temporary or conditional.

  • How does use of the Biblical counseling address this problem? The majority of our emotional, mental and physical difficulties have spiritual roots (Psalm 1, Romans 1).

  • Why is there so much dependence on talk about use of Scripture?  The word of God is used to teach, confront, correct and encourage and disciple. (2 Timothy 3:16)

  • What role does counselor's use is to discern what is really going on?  The counselor relies on prayer and wisdom from the scriptures  (James 1:5, Heb 4:12-13).

  • Do I need a support system besides the counselor?  Yes. Absolutely.  God will and does use many others means, especially friends, family, and small groups.

  • Healing can take place immediately, weeks or months rather than years. In general it is a process we all go through.

  • We are not affiliated with any church or denomination.

  • We will counsel individuals and families from virtually every denomination.

  • We do offer churches the opportunity to partner with us. These partnerships are designed to be mutually beneficial and a way to help people within their own familiar church home.  Our desire is to help churches where needed.

  • Additionally, every counselee is encouraged to a member of a local church where they can exercise their gifts, talents as well as receive the benefits of God's word spoken through, pastors, worship and others thereby strengthening the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:11-14)
